Dru is a flowing style of yoga suitable for all ages and abilities. Unique to Dru are energy block release sequences (EBRs) which serve to remove any tension and tightness in muscles and joints, allowing us optimum mobility and range of movement. But don’t be fooled by the flow! Moving gracefully and slowly requires strength and concentration, something you will develop during our yoga sessions together.
Each session includes pranayama (breath exercises), asana (physical yoga postures) yoga nidra (guided relaxation) and meditation. We also explore the sacred power of hasta mudras (yoga of the hands) in some of our classes, along with mindfulness and meditation, to help you leave with a real sense of calm and wellbeing that will last long after you roll up your mat.
