Hello! My name is Claire and I'm passionate about sharing my love of yoga with everyone.
Yoga changed my life; it gave me the tools I needed to deal with challenging times. I love sharing my passion for yoga and especially love helping people to master the art of relaxation, which I believe is key to understanding ourselves and our emotions.
I am a fully qualified Dru Yoga teacher and Yoga therapist having completed my 500hr teacher training course specialising in back care in 2010. I’ve also recently qualified in Yin yoga. I take a friendly and pragmatic approach to teaching yoga and have many long-standing regular clients as well as new people finding our group classes all the time. Group classes are all friendly and welcoming and are suitable for all ages and abilities.
I have been teaching adults and children’s yoga since 2010. The ages of my clients range from 4 to 74+. I believe that if you can breathe, you can do yoga :-). I am fully DBS checked, insured and first aid certified. I run drop-in classes, 1-2-1 sessions by appointment, and work with local schools and voluntary youth groups. I have a grounded and down to earth approach to yoga practice and hope to inspire you to take your yoga off the mat and out into the world!
I also support the Dru Yoga Teacher Training programme alongside senior Dru teachers and mentors, leading workshops and supporting new tutors.
I run yoga and wellbeing retreat days in the forest with a good yogi friend of mine – Emma. We call this joint venture Forestry Wellbeing.
